Put your call-to-action in the first paragraph.

Make it so that even if your reader only reads the first paragraph, they’ve already learned 80% of what’s there to learn in your article.

Every other paragraph that follows afterward sheds more detail. The first paragraph is the “macro” perspective, and each paragraph you write “zooms in” to your point.

We’ll call this a progressive disclosure style of writing. The most important points is disclosed first, while other less-important details that can be skimmed over is disclosed last.
